As seen from the country overview, the healthcare system of the DPRK is in need of severe improvement. In general it is known that the healthcare situation in Pyongyang, the capital and biggest city of the country is superior to the circumstances outside of the capital city. Therefore we chose the South Pyongan Pediatric Hospital as the main target of our efforts to bring humanitarian relief to this hardly accessible country.
